A reliable plan begins with the correct component and the current manufacturer publication.

   Check the manufacturer interval

   Confirm model, build year, operating profile and manual edition. Generic guidance is not a substitute.

   Choose the interval type

   Use calendar, counter or both. For combined requirements, the first threshold reached applies.

   Set enough lead time

   Allow time for parts, yard access or a qualified workshop.

4. 4

   Complete with evidence

   Record date, reading, work, parts, cost and evidence. The completion remains historical.
